The nation’s capital is one of the busiest hubs on the East Coast, and being just a quick flight away from Boston, came in as one of our city’s most traveled to locales.

Combine the beach with the club and you’ve got another of Boston’s favorite warm weather escapes with Miami rounding out the top 3 destinations.

Whether for business or for pleasure, Bostonians can’t seem to get enough of the city by the bay as San Francisco came in as the runner-up destination of choice.

While Boston keeps up a fierce rivalry with New York City—our citizens also have lots of love for the Big Apple, traveling there more often than any other city in the country.
Boston’s Top 5 International Travel Destinations

Between the culture and the food, Mexico’s largest city is a hit with this northern group.

Paris is always a good idea, well at least Bostonians seem to think so. The city of lights ranks as our fourth most popular international city to visit.

If Paris is a bit too far, Montreal is a great alternative. This French-Canadian city must host quite a large number of New Englanders annually as it is Boston’s third most popular international destination.

We certainly are fond of our neighbors to the North, with two Canadian cities making Boston’s top 5 international destinations. Naturally, the country’s largest city comes in at number 2 on the list.

It isn’t called New England for nothing—Boston remains true to its roots, visiting London, England more often than any other international city.
