  1. Tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner and select Payment.
  2. Tap Add Payment Method.
  3. Tap Venmo.
  4. Sign in to your Venmo account and tap Authorize.

  • Yes, in the payment feed of the Venmo app, select the option to split the cost with Venmo friends. Then use the compose screen to note what the payment is for with text or emojis.

  • To use Uber emojis when splitting the cost of a ride or meal, tap on the emoji button in the compose screen or type “Uber” or “Uber Eats” in your payment note. If you don’t see the Uber emojis, make sure you’re using the latest version of the Venmo app.

  • Venmo is only available on Uber and Uber Eats in the US. If you’re in the US and don’t see the option to add Venmo as a payment method, first make sure you're using the latest version of the Uber app.
