
Thank you for your collaboration with Uber Eats! Your restaurant is ready to receive orders on the Uber Eats platform. Complete these steps to get started:
1. INSTALL THE TABLET
- Plug the tablet into the wall socket and turn on the tablet
- Go to settings and connect to your wifi
- Open the Uber Eats app and log in with your login details (see welcome email)
- Make sure the tablet is always charged
- The tablet is installed
2. INSTALL THE PRINTER (If applicable)
- Plug the printer into the wall socket and turn on the printer
- Go to settings and connect the tablet to the printer via Bluetooth
- Open the Uber Eats app
- Click on the 3 horizontal lines at the top left
- Go to settings and turn on Print receipt
- Search for the correct printer and make a test print
- The printer is installed
3. CHECK IF EVERYTHING IS ALL RIGHT
- Cooking time
- Go to restaurant.uber.com
- Log in with your login details
- Adjust the cooking time if necessary
- Opening hours
- Open the Uber Eats app
- Click on the 3 horizontal lines at the top left
- Go to “Opening hours” and adjust if necessary
- Menu
- Go to restaurant.uber.com
- Log in with your login details
- Check your menu and if necessary make changes in the Restaurant Manager under “menu”
4. RECEIVING ORDERS
- When you receive an order, the screen of your tablet will turn green and make a sound. You can turn the volume up or down with the buttons on the side of the tablet. We recommend turning up the volume to avoid missing orders
- Click on the screen to accept the order
- On the left side of the screen, you find 3 different icons: a receipt, a pan and a bag
- When accepting an order, you will see that the order moves from the icon with the receipt to the icon with the pan. This means you can prepare the order
- You can indicate per order that it is ready. The order will move from the icon with the pan to the icon with the bag. The order is ready to be delivered
5. EXTRA INFORMATION
- Pause Button
- Open the Uber Eats app
- Click on the 3 horizontal lines at the top left
- At the bottom you will find a button with 2 vertical lines with “Pause new orders”
- Choose how long you temporarily do not want to receive new orders
- This way it is not necessary to turn off your tablet if, for example, it is too busy
- Item availability
- Open the Uber Eats app
- Click on the 3 horizontal lines at the top left
- Go to “Item availability”
- Please indicate if a specific item or dish is temporarily unavailable

- Click on the 3 horizontal lines at the top left
- Go to “Manual”
- Press “Get started”
- Press “Google PDF Viewer”
- Press “Always”
