In an effort to help riders move around safely and reliably,  the Uber DFW team held the biggest contest in DFW history. For the past three weeks, we launched a campaign and the driver who referred the most new driver-partners had an opportunity to earn some extra cash. One outstanding driver-partner blew this contest out of the water, and we are thrilled to announce the winner, Paige. Paige is taking home the (literally) large check, and we’re excited to share her story with you!  

 Meet Our Winner

One sunny afternoon, while on her way to the State Fair, Paige received a phone call from Uber, congratulating her on her efforts of referring new driver-partners. While calling to explain that she won the ultimate $2,500 giveaway, we were able to learn a little bit about her and her experiences as an Uber partner.

Paige, a dedicated Denton mother, started driving for Uber to earn extra money after being referred by friends. Once she became familiar with the system and noticed how much she was adding to her bank account, Paige started spreading the word of Uber with her family and friends. By posting about Uber through her social media channels, Paige was able to sign up many of her friends (and even her mother!) to become Uber drivers in DFW.  

Aside from referring her family and friends to become new driver-partners, Paige also shares the #UberLove while she’s out on the road. While on trips with her Denton riders, Paige goes above and beyond to ensure they enjoy their ride. She’s put a little creative spin on each of her trips, making a ride with her quite memorable. Once a rider hops in the car, the back seat transforms into a photo booth allowing passengers to take pictures with props and create memories that will last a lifetime. She’s even created her own hashtag, #UberPaige, that helps people follow the fun that riders are having in her vehicle.

Paige’s dedication has definitely paid off, and she looks forward to taking her family out to a nice dinner and enrolling her daughter in dance classes with her new stash.
