How payments work

When you drive with Uber, your earnings are transferred automatically, so you don't have to worry about paperwork. Find out how to add a bank account and how to cash out.

How to set up a bank transfer

1. Use the app or sign in online

To add your bank account in the Driver app, go to Payments in the app menu. Alternatively, visit, sign in, and go to the Banking tab in your dashboard.

2. Add your bank details

Fill in your bank details, full address, and date of birth exactly as they appear on a recent bank statement. If any of the details are incorrect, your deposit may be delayed.

3. Can't find your bank account information?

You can find your bank details on your bank statement. If you have additional questions, you can contact your bank.

How to submit payments to Uber

While a portion of the money you collect is yours to keep, another portion has to be paid to Uber. You can keep track of the money you owe to Uber in the Transaction Activity screen in the Uber Partner app.

Read below to learn about return payment options and how to get set up.

1. Pay online


  1. Please download BHIM App from the Google Play Store or App Store.
  2. Open the BHIM App
  3. Please select your desired language in the BHIM App
  4. Please verify the OTP sent to your registered mobile number. OTP is requested and auto-received within the App. No need to enter OTP manually. Click on NEXT
  5. Please select the Bank in which you have an active bank account and ensure that it is the same bank linked to your Uber account
  6. UPI PIN is used for authentication of transactions.
  7. If you have set UPI PIN in any other UPI enabled App, you can use the same UPI PIN in the BHIM App too.
  8. In the next step, please input the last 6 digits of your Debit card and the expiry date. Press OK.
  9. Bank OTP is requested and auto-received within the App. No need to enter OTP manually.
  10. Please set your new UPI PIN (mPIN). Please re-enter UPI PIN to confirm. Your App registration process is complete.
  11. To ensure BHIM App is working smoothly, please check your account balance from the App and verify it.
  12. Please go to the ‘Profile’ page to set your Virtual Payment Address (VPA) ID or UPI ID. One partner can set up to two Virtual payment addresses for the same bank account.
  13. There are 3 options in the BHIM App - “Send”, “Receive” and “Scan & Pay”
  14. You will receive a message from us in the next 5 minutes with a video on how to pay online. Please go through it to understand how to pay online using your UPI account.

3. Partner Seva Kendra


  1. Please visit Partner Seva Kendra for support with your:
    • Smartphone
    • ATM/Debit card of the bank account
    • Bank registered phone number SIM
  2. They will help you to install UPI app and you can pay online using it. Please note the bank account or VPA used for payment should have sufficient money.
  3. Once your UPI ID is linked with BHIM App, you do not need to come to PSK to make future payments.
  4. You can pay to the agent, the payment is adjusted to your account and your fleet will be reactivated in 24 hours.

Important note:

It’s recommended that you deposit cash into your bank account as it’s collected from cash deliveries to ensure you have sufficient funds in your account by the time payment is owed to Uber. Payment will be collected by Uber once a week.

If a payment is unable to be collected by Uber, you may lose access to delivery trips that involve cash. If multiple payments are unable to be collected by Uber, your delivery account may be deactivated.
