In New South Wales, all driver-partners need to pass an annual pink slip inspection to drive with Uber.
- Vehicles aged 2014 - 2018 do require a passed pink slip inspection before becoming active with uberX
- Most vehicles aged 2009 - 2013 & 2019 do not require a pink slip inspection before becoming active with uberX, as they are already inspected annually during the registration renewal process. If your vehicle does require an inspection we will let you know.
You can complete a New South Wales pink slip road-worthy inspection at most certified mechanics. At the end of the inspection, get the passed inspection report and upload it to your Uber profile at partners.uber.com.
