Plan ahead to ride in Paris

With our new feature in the Uber app, you can discover average prices and wait times for rides in the French capital, even if you’re currently in another city. Please note: these estimates are based on historical data across Paris.

To get the average prices and wait times, open the Uber app, choose Where to?, scroll down to Search in a different city, then select Paris.

Want to coordinate your rides ahead of time? You can reserve your rides in advance at the link below.

Airport rides

After you’ve cleared customs at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) or Paris-Orly Airport (ORY), open the Uber app to request your ride.

Make sure to follow our in-app directions with photos to guide you to your pickup location. If needed, contact your driver to confirm the best pickup point.

Security perimeters

Several security perimeters will be created throughout Paris, and these may change every day.

If you’ll be getting picked up or dropped off inside a security perimeter, you may need to present necessary documentation, such as an official event ticket, Pass Jeux, or QR code.

Venue pickup and dropoff

Look for designated rideshare pickup and dropoff zones located a short distance from most event sites. Below is a full list.

Riders should explore the Uber app and consider all offerings. It’s sometimes best to take public transport a few stops from an event before requesting an Uber ride to your final destination.

And remember that there will be road closures and traffic delays, so try to leave early or during off-peak hours to avoid crowds.

Unique Uber experiences

For a limited time, riders can book a day trip from Paris to France’s Champagne region with Uber Bubbles (through August 17) or ride on the Seine with Uber Cruise (July 12-19 and July 28-August 3). Both offerings are available to book after you arrive in Paris.

If you’re taking short-distance trips, electric bikes are always a great option. Try booking a Lime e-bike directly in the Uber app.
