Using Uber at London Gatwick Airport

Making sure you’re on time when using London Gatwick Airport (LGW) can be a nerve-wracking experience. This is the UK’s second-largest airport, serving more than 220 destinations in 80 countries. • Blackheath: For a taste of the country within London, head for Blackheath. This south-eastern neighbourhood boasts one of the city’s finest green open spaces, where locals come to eat picnics in the summer and fly kites when it’s a little windier. It’s also just a short walk to the historic attractions in Greenwich. Try The Hare and Billet, on the edge of the heath itself, for good food and excellent local beer.
• The South Bank: There’s a huge amount of cultural life on the South Bank, on the south side of the Thames across from central London. Here you’ll find the Royal Festival Hall, the Hayward Gallery, the Queen Elizabeth Gallery and plenty more besides. There are few better places to go for a walk on a clear day. From Friday to Sunday, stroll down from Borough to Waterloo and pick something up for lunch at the Southbank Centre Food Market behind the Royal Festival Hall.
