Each campus—and its events—has unique needs. With Vouchers, admins tailor their transport programmes to fit those needs perfectly. Here are some ways they do it:

• Set your subsidy. You can decide whether to cover the full cost or part of a ride and set a custom voucher amount, credit, or discount to offer students, faculty, and staff. 
• Choose geography and times of day. Only want guests to ride after 9pm, before 7am, or in certain areas? No problem. Define the exact zones where your voucher applies, and set specific times when your transport programme is available. 
• Limit overall usage. Specify the number of rides per voucher to stay within your budget. 
• Pay per performance. Uber’s pay-per-performance model ensures that your institution pays only for services actually used.

Getting started

Is your event just around the corner? Launching a programme doesn’t have to take weeks. With self-serve setup, administrators can get started with Vouchers in just a few steps: 

1. Create an account. Sign in or create an Uber account with your work email address, and follow the instructions to register your organisation for Uber for Business. Verify your work email when prompted.
2. Add your payment method. Select the Vouchers programme, then set up the method you want to use for payment. You won’t be charged until recipients redeem their vouchers.
3. Choose parameters. Create a voucher and customise settings such as value and eligible locations, dates, and times. Learn more about restrictions.
4. Distribute your vouchers. Send vouchers by email, text, CSV upload, or URL—all enabled from the Uber for Business dashboard.
5. Redeem. Once claimed, vouchers are added to recipients’ personal Uber profile and automatically applied at checkout on eligible Uber trips.
