What offers are available to you on Uber Eats?
You can attract new customers and retain existing ones, by offering special deals and discounts on:
- Specific items: Buy One, Get One Free, % off item or % off category, and Free Item with minimum basket size.
- Your whole basket: % off basket, £ off basket and £0 Delivery Fee with minimum basket size.
You can combine any offers that are on the item level with any offer on the basket level, running more than one offer simultaneously.
Why should you run offers?
Offers will boost your visibility.
Merchants running offers will have a differentiated storefront and a competitive edge, as they can appear higher in the feed. They can be featured in dedicated carousels or out-of-app comms.
Offers can convert menu views into orders.
Uber Eats offers are a powerful tool to improve conversion, giving customers an extra reason to choose your store.
Offers help grow your business.
Not only do offers help increase basket size and boost order volumes free of charge, but Uber service fee will be calculated on the post-promo amount.
Easily set up your offers:
- Log in to Uber Eats Manager, and head to the ‘Create’ tab on the Marketing page.
- Select the offer type.
- Customise the offer criteria: participating stores, the audience you’d like to target (new or all), a custom schedule and a budget.
- Go live! We’ll send performance metrics to you one week after your offer has ended.
Align your goals to Uber Eats offers:
BOGO offers typically drive larger basket sizes and sales volumes, which increases revenue despite the promotion cost.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I run multiple offers at once?
Yes, you can! For example, try setting up a BOGO offer for all customers, and an additional 30% off the basket offer for new customers.
This will give customers a good reason to choose your store, particularly those who have never tried it, as they will benefit from the two offers.
Can I run both ads and offers at once?
Yes, you can! Running ads and offers is a great way to boost your brand to the top of the feed, and attract customers with savings.
Who is paying for offers?
Offers work just as they would at your store. You will pay no additional fees to Uber per offer or redemption. Uber will calculate the service fee based on the post-promo amount.
The only additional cost to the merchant is the food cost related to the offer when running Buy One, Get One Free or Free Item offers, and the discount on goods when running % off item, % off basket, £ off basket or £0 Delivery Fee offers.
How are offers being billed?
% off item, % off basket, £ off basket or £0 Delivery Fee offers – the promotion amount (discount in absolute or %) will be automatically deducted from your payout.
Buy One, Get One Free, Free Item offers – when you give the item for free, you will not be billed anything.
