In accordance with the notice from Election Commission (link here), on account of Mayoral elections there have been some temporary bans placed on movement of motorbikes & cars within the jurisdiction of Dhaka North City Corporation:
Timeline of the ban:
- Motorbikes: 27-Feb, 28-Feb, 1-Mar
- Cars: 28-Feb
Area where ban will be effective:
- Jurisdiction of Dhaka City corporation (Uttara, Gulshan, Mirpur, Karwan Bazar, etc:
In this scenario, to comply with the instruction from EC and to ensure your safety, our Uber services will be temporarily suspended during the aforementioned times and areas.
Please note:
- In areas outside Dhaka North City Corporation jurisdiction, both our Moto & Car services will remain open (areas like Dhanmondi, Motijheel, Paltan, Old Dhaka, etc.)
- All our Partner Sheba Kendro’s except Dhanmondi & Paltan spots will remain closed on Thursday 28-Feb.
