No action is needed on your part to pay the ticket. The airport bills Uber directly for citations and Uber then collects the amounts from partner pay statements. After receiving a notification email, you will see the fine deducted from your next pay statement. You cannot pay Massport directly for your citation.

How can I appeal my citation?

Unfortunately, there is no appeals process.

Who issues these citations?

Citations can be issued by state police or by Massport employees. At this time, they will not appear on your driving record.

Will there be any late fees?

There will not be any late fees for your citation.

I received a citation for not having trade dress (Uber stickers). Where can I get trade dress?

You can visit us in person at one of our Greenlight Hubs or order them online here.

I got my citation a month ago. Do I still have to pay it?

Yes even if the citation is from a month ago. Uber receives copies of citations monthly and takes action on them once they are received.

I was cited at the airport during my first week partnering with Uber. I wasn’t aware of the rules. Do I still have to pay?

Unfortunately, yes. Even during your first weeks partnering with Uber, you are responsible for knowing and understanding rules at the airport. We understand the airport can be an overwhelming experience at first, so we recommend reviewing the rules and regulations before heading to the airport for trips.
