Window Stickers

State regulations require you to display a sign identifying your vehicle as a passenger transport vehicle. Whenever you’re online, the sign should be visible.

To help with this, we’ve made available removable Uber stickers. Under the regulations:

  • These stickers must be displayed whenever you’re driving with the Uber app.

  • You should remove these stickers when you are not driving with the Uber app.

  • You cannot display an advertisement or other marking on your vehicle whilst driving with the Uber app.”

Where to put your sticker

It’s important to know where to put your sticker. If the sticker isn’t properly displayed, or if it’s not visible while you’re driving with the Uber app (day or night), you could cop a fine from local authorities.

Frequently asked questions

  • Peel the backing off the stickers and stick them to the inside of the window. The Uber logo (the sticky side) should be facing outwards.

  • The sticker must be displayed on your vehicle at all times when using the Uber App and can be easily removed when you’re offline. We recommend keeping the sticker in your glove box when you’re not using the Uber App.

  • If the sticker isn’t properly displayed, or if it’s not visible while you’re driving with the Uber app (day or night), you could cop a fine from local authorities.

  • Make sure your sticker is clearly visible from outside the vehicle during the day and at night.
