With Share My Trip automatically turned on, you’ll receive notifications every time your teen requests a ride or orders a meal with Uber Eats. You'll be able to see how the trip is progressing, and with RideCheck we'll notify you of route deviations and midway drop-offs.* You can also view past trips they have taken in the Activity hub. Additionally, teen trips are destination-locked, which means drivers cannot change the destination of the trip—only your teen can.

This safety feature, if opted in to, is always on
Audio Recording Riders and/or drivers can record audio on their devices through the app. Recording will begin just before the trip starts. On iOS devices, the Uber app must be open and visible on your screen for recording to start. Once it begins, it will continue until a few moments after the trip ends—as long as there are no interruptions, like a phone call or another app taking over the microphone. This feature helps encourage safe, comfortable interactions on trips. Teen riders can opt in to this feature to have audio recorded on every trip.

Riders and/or drivers can record audio on their devices through the app. Recording will begin just before the trip starts. On iOS devices, the Uber app must be open and visible on your screen for recording to start. Once it begins, it will continue until a few moments after the trip ends—as long as there are no interruptions, like a phone call or another app taking over the microphone. This feature helps encourage safe, comfortable interactions on trips. Teen riders can opt in to this feature to have audio recorded on every trip.When a rider and/or driver uses this feature, the audio recording will be stored and encrypted on their phone so that no one—not even the person who initiated the recording—can access it. Uber can only access it if the user opens an incident report with our Support team and includes the audio file. Unless this happens, Uber cannot access any of the content. Under certain circumstances, Uber may share a copy of the submitted recording with a teen or their parent or guardian.

In an emergency, you or your teen can use the in-app Emergency Button to contact 911. You’ll both also have access to Uber’s Safety Incident Reporting Line while the trip is in progress.
After the trip, your teen can report a safety incident through the app either by selecting the trip in their trip history, tapping Help, then selecting Report Safety Issue, or by contacting Uber’s Safety Incident Reporting Line.

如何添加青少年账号
请按照以下 3 个步骤设立您孩子的账号：
- 依次轻触账号 > 家庭和青少年，创建家庭账户。

Yes, guardians are permitted to book trips on behalf of their teens. Guardians can initiate the booking flow from their home screen by following these steps:
- From the home screen of your Uber app, click “Where to?”
- Select the guest selector in the top left corner
- Teens with their profile will appear. Select the teen account that you want to book a ride for
- Select the product type
- You will receive a confirmation and be redirected to teen trip tracking screen when booked
Rest assured, the enhanced safety features automatically turned on for your teen’s account will stay on for every ride, even those you arrange for them. These features, including live trip tracking, help you stay connected.

While a teen is on a ride requested through a teen account, guardians can contact their teen’s driver directly by going to the Activity section of the Uber app or selecting the push notification about the trip, then choosing the phone icon next to the driver’s name.
Go to the phone icon on the live trip tracking page to call the driver. This functionality is not currently available for Uber Eats orders with teen accounts.
You can also message the driver during a trip in a three-way group chat with your teen. To do so, go to the Activity section or the live trip tracking page in the Uber app, then select the message icon next to the driver’s name.

By creating a teen account with Uber, you attest that, as your teen’s guardian, you have legal authority to act on your child’s behalf, that your child is between the ages of 13 and 17, and that you have conferred with any other parent or legal guardian of your teen. Use of Uber for teens is further governed by these specific Terms of Use.
In the event that you need to place a 911 emergency call on behalf of your teen, the dispatcher you’re connected with will see your location, not your teen’s.
*Notifications may be subject to your device settings, LTE or internet connectivity, or any software that can restrict messaging.
