What a week! We can’t thank our amazing partners enough for stepping up in a massive way to make a difference to a child this holiday season. All toys collected over the past week have been donated to Chicago-native Jennifer Hudson’s Julian D. King Gift Foundation. In total, we collected over 700 toys from 25+ local businesses!
Our Uber Sleighs (awesome Uber drivers and their SUVs who took on the jolly role of Santa for this) made the rounds, and pulled up to WGN Morning News at 6am this morning (check out the video here!).
The Uber Sleigh was also proud to partner with the Chicago Sun-Times this holiday season for their Letters to Santa program. Program participants received a letter written by a child, purchased and wrapped the gift, and delivered it to a school via the Uber Sleigh. The program was a huge success in making a difference to a child this December and we’re grateful that the Uber Sleigh could be a part of it!
