Lace up your shoes Baltimore, the 14th annual Baltimore Running Festival starts Saturday, October 14th! Welcoming over 27,000 runners from around the world, the day long festival features 7 races across the city. Not a runner? No problem! You can still take part in the festivities as a cheerleader. The festival kicks off at 8AM Saturday, and finish at The Celebration Village located outside of Camden Yards.
Dust off your lederhosen (or animal costumes), the Maryland Zoo is hosting their annual OktoBEARfest Saturday, October 18th. Attendees can experience unlimited samplings of more than 30 seasonal brews, live music and German food & fare from local vendors and artisans. This wildly popular fall festival is open to all ages, and both drinking and non-drinking tickets are still available for purchase!
Celebrating its 43rd year, the United States Powerboat show is revving up for a fast-paced, nautical weekend. The 7th Annual Harbor Harvest at West Shore Park is taking place Sunday, October 19th from 10am – 2pm. This free event will feature an urban pumpkin patch, petting zoo, hay maze, face painting, pumpkin decorating, live music, food trucks and more! It’s a great outing for everyone, including families and children of all ages.
