We’re inviting all Uber Bay Area driver-partners, to come up with an idea that has a positive impact on the women in your community. If your idea is selected, Uber will fund your project with $1,000 and Indiegogo will help with expert coaching to put your plan into action.

Celebrating Women’s History Month in the Bay Area
As the world celebrates Women’s History Month, I would like to take the opportunity to thank the women who contribute so much to the Bay Area, making it a safer, better place to be every day.
Last week, I had dinner with ten of our earliest women driver-partners to better understand the experiences of women on our platform. I received rich feedback from this diverse group of business owners, mothers, and students who partner with us. As Uber grows, the flexibility we offer is what differentiates and I am committing to creating work that puts you first.
In honor of the women who move us, we’re collaborating with Indiegogo to give seed funding and coaching to a select number of driver-partners who have an idea that will improve the lives of women in their community. See above for details and a link to apply.
