Since 2011, Uber Chicago has worked to connect riders with drivers in order to provide a safe and reliable transportation option. We’re proud to call ourselves a part of the Chicago community and being a part of the community means giving back.

Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of #UberMOVEMENT.

#UberMOVEMENT is based upon building and strengthening relationships with those in our community and supporting our neighbors as well as our driver partners. Going forward, we will be taking our community involvement to the next level.

To begin, we will be highlighting our partnerships and involvement with charities and non-profit organizations. We want to bring awareness to their work and provide innovative donation opportunities for others in the community. We support those who make this city great and hope to bring even more attention to these wonderful organizations.

Next, our driver partners are the most important pieces of the Uber puzzle. We’re recognizing our partners and giving riders an opportunity to take a glimpse behind the wheel at those who move us around Chicago safely.

We’re evolving the way we move people and now it’s time to evolve the way we move Chicago.
