It’s that time of year again, New York—when you look and feel homeless if you aren’t wearing heels. In case you missed it, Fashion Week has descended upon NYC. But really, how could you miss it? The NYFW scene is filled to the brim with events, parties, flocks of fashionistas, and special NYC moments that are so stereotypically “Fashion Week,” you just can’t help but find a little humor hidden in it all.
This weekend, we’re sending you on a mission to hit the city streets and capture NYFW. So channel your inner Harriet (or Harry?) the Spy and see if you can track down the below NYFW S/S 15 moments. Take pictures (stealthily) and Instagram them using the hashtag #ISpyNYFW and tag @Uber_NYC. If you can post at least three of these, you can win up to $50 in Uber credit!
I spy…
- Someone double fisting green juice and coffee
- Way-too-high-to-walk high heels
- Bill Cunningham
- A wardrobe malfunction (on the street or during a show)
- Birkenstocks
- An outfit someone would clearly only wear to make a statement during FW
- A shoe change on a sidewalk bench
- Someone taking a selfie in front of the Lincoln Center
- André Leon Talley in all his glory
- An intern schlepping garment bags
- A street-side step and repeat
- Someone trying to hail a cab, when they obviously should have requested an Uber
Good luck, and have a stylin’ weekend.
