In March, we pledged to create job opportunities for 1,000,000 women around the world by 2020, and we are working hard to meet this goal. Last week, the Uber DFW team held a women’s appreciation breakfast to hear directly from our partners about their experience driving North Texans around the metroplex and to learn how to raise awareness about the flexible earning opportunities Uber provides.
With over 70% of mothers on the platform supporting two or more dependents at home, we have learned that flexibility is key to managing their professional, social, and family networks.
