A Note to Staples Associates Impacted by Recent Restructuring

Changes at work can be hard, especially when they impact your schedule or the ability to support your family. So we wanted to let everyone affected by the recent changes at Staples in Framingham and throughout Massachusetts about the opportunity to make money driving with Uber.

It’s quick and easy to get started— sign up at the top of this page. You can use your own car and you work when you choose. There’s no schedule, ever, which means you can drive for as much or as little as you want. In fact, most of our partners drive less than ten hours a week. To help you get started, we’ve put together a special package for Staples associates affected by the closures.

  • $500 Special Offer: Uber will be offering $500 if you complete 50 trips within 30 days of your account being activated. This is time limited so see the details below.
  • Momentum Rewards Program: Exclusive deals for qualified drivers, such as discounts of up to 15% at major auto maintenance retailers; a Partner Fuel Card powered by FleetCor and MasterCard that provides discounts of up to 15 cents per gallon at gas stations nationwide, including discounts at participating Exxon- and Mobil-branded retail stations throughout the US; and discounts of 15 to 18% at top wireless carriers AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint for eligible driver partners and their immediate family.

To qualify for the incentive, you must:

  • Be new to Uber and signed up to drive in Massachusetts after 1/26/16
  • Submit Staples pay statement dated no earlier than 12/1/15
  • Complete 50 trips in Massachusetts within 30 days of being activated to drive with Uber
  • Take your first trip by 3/1/2016
