Uber Guide to Celebrating the Irish
It’s no secret that St. Patrick’s Day is one of the most celebrated holidays in Philadelphia and if last weekend’s festivities are a preview of what’s to come, locals aren’t holding back this year.
Between this Saturday’s Erin Express and Sunday’s annual parade, the city will be covered in green, as partygoers hop from bar-to-bar, event-to-event, eager to get their Irish fix. Throw in the warmer weather and there’s no question that the City of Brotherly Love will be alive. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
PRO-TIPS FOR AN UBER-LUCKY ST. PATRICK’S DAY
- No sticker shock. Increased traffic and road closures for Sunday’s parade may mean slightly longer ETAs, less direct routes and higher prices than usual. Use the fare estimator in the app to get an idea of what your trip should cost. Surge pricing could be active to ensure you have a reliable ride when you need one.
- Request early. We’ve let drivers know to stick around for late night and early morning rides, but be sure to check the app in advance of when you’ll need a ride to make sure you get where you need to go on time.
