Heading east this weekend? The Weekender is too! We’ve got your top picks for what to do, where to go, and what to eat in the Hamptons while you’re there. Between the parties, the events, and the beaching, there’s a lot to fit in, but luckily Uber is out east to help you get where you want to go!

Don’t miss sunset hour at Montauk’s Surf Lodge, when the deep orange glow makes your Endless Summer cocktail even more satisfying. Every Saturday and Sunday the hotspot bar hosts outdoor concerts overlooking the water. This weekend, be sure to catch either San Fermin on Saturday or Gary Clark Jr. on Sunday.

This weekend is the annual Dan’s Taste of Summer two-day event in Bridgehampton. Dan’s Papers, the go-to online magazine for all things Hamptons, hosts this yearly culinary event that attracts Food Network luminaries and some of the best chefs from the East End and NYC. If you are passionate about grilling, don’t miss Friday’s Grill Hampton event with a Hamptons vs. NYC grill-off. Then Saturday is the Taste of Two Forks hosted by Katie Lee and Geoffrey Zakarian. Eat your way through the weekend and enjoy some of the best food and drink you can find in New York. Get your tickets here.

If you’re in Montauk this weekend and have yet to stop off for one Montauk Bake Shoppe’s famous Jelly Croissants, then now is the time. Since Pastry Chef Dominque Ansel introduced the Cronut last year, there have been many (some good, some bad) imitators. But in Montauk, they’ve had the croissant-meets-the-donut thing going for awhile. Grab one of the bakery’s sugar-coated fresh croissants filled with raspberry jelly, and you’ll forget all about waiting in line before sunrise for a Cronut in NYC.

Bike and Brunch | Ruschmeyer’s, Montauk

If you’re staying at the “adult summer camp” known as Ruschmeyer’s and are looking for an activity to do on Saturday before posting up at the beach, then why not go for a bicycle cruise through Montauk. The bike riding tour starts at 11am followed by brunch back at Ruschmeyer’s at 12:30pm.
