New York State College Student Social Media Challenge

In advance of this week’s holiday travel, we’re announcing a social media challenge asking students attending Upstate New York colleges and universities to share stories about their best Uber experiences for the chance to win $100.

Across New York City, Uber offers riders the ability to find a safe, affordable way to get around their communities. Right now, New Yorkers outside of NYC — including students, who may have access to Uber in their hometowns — are missing out.

If you’re a college student in Upstate New York, here’s how you can enter:

• Between Tuesday, November 18th and Sunday, November 27, share on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram about your best experience in an Uber. (Be sure to use the hashtag #NYNeedsUber!)
• The top 10 people with the best Uber stories will win $100 in Uber credit.
