Seattle #UberEverywhere

Have you ever wanted to request a car from your favorite app and take a journey around the world? Well, we know you might be too busy for that so we have brought you #UberEverywhere, a journey through all the cities where Uber is present to take you from point A to point B. So far we’ve taken us from The City by the Bay to The City That Never Sleeps. So, let’s head back to the West Coast (best coast!) to check out The Emerald City.

The More You Know!

The 3rd city to launch, Uber landed in Seattle on August 12, 2011 (a glorious day, indeed!). We’ve had so many awesome riders from Sir Mix-A-Lot to Allen Stone and have been so lucky to be a part of so many amazing events from Celebrity Bowling with Ashton Wilson to Capitol Hill Block Party. And of course, that one time when there was an Uber flag on the top of the Space Needle. Oh, maybe that was just a dream. 😉

We pulled out our phone and requested an Uber to show you a few of the great spots in our favorite city!

Seattle Top 5!

How much do we love Seattle? SO MUCH! We wish we could list ALL of our favorite places but for the sake of keeping this blog post short and sweet here is Uber Seattle HQ’s top 5 favorites (and not in any specific order):

1. CenturyLink Field

Who wouldn’t pick the place where the Seahawks & Sounders dominate the field as a favorite? I mean, it IS the loudest stadium in the world! Twitter | Facebook

2. Neumos & The Crocodile

Ok ok, we know. These are two in one but we couldn’t just pick one! Both venues are super awesome and are always great for a show! Neumos: Twitter | Facebook The Croc: Twitter | Facebook

3. Marination

If you ask any of us where we’d like to eat lunch you’ll most likely always hear “Marination”. With two locations and a truck, there is no reason not to enjoy this yummy goodness. Tacos, and sliders, and Kimchi Rice Bowl, oh YUM. Twitter | Facebook

4. Cure

This tucked away gem is perfect to belly up to the bar & enjoy a glass of wine. Have a chat with the locals or sit in the corner table with your love & snack on a yummy cheese plate. Twitter | Facebook

5. A drive down Lake Washington Boulevard

Amazing views of Lake Washington! ‘Nuff said.
