HOW IT WORKS
- REQUEST: Today, select uberX and toggle on the uberPOOL option. Set your pick up location and destination.
- RIDE: You may be matched with another rider traveling a similar route.
- RELAX: Match or no match, you’ll get an automatic 49% (up to $20) off your trip.
THE DETAILS
- WHAT: Automatic 49% discount on TWO uberPOOL rides, whether you’re matched with another rider or not.
- WHEN: Between 3pm and midnight, February 1, 2015
- WHERE: Manhattan and some areas of Brooklyn and Queens
NOTE: If you get connected with another rider, the app will display a savings percent based on your specific match. Your promotional 49% discount will apply on top of this. Refer to your trip receipt for a full fare breakdown.
