OAK, Your uberX is Cleared for Landing

We’re excited to announce uberX will soon be able to pick up and drop off riders at Oakland International Airport.

Uber has reached an agreement with OAK and the Port of Oakland to bring ridesharing to the East Bay’s biggest airport in the coming weeks, making it easier to get a safe, affordable ride.

Travelers from around the world will now have a reliable choice for trips to and from OAK with a tap of the Uber app. As airport trip requests grow, they’ll translate to new income opportunities for Bay Area driver-partners.
