Moving St. Louis with uberX

In the 3 weeks since launching uberX, riders have requested tens of thousands of rides, including many in underserved communities. People finally have the option to push a button and get a ride to avoid drunk driving. This is all possible because of our valued driver partners.

We thought you’d like to meet some of them. Here are their stories.

• Larry Norris worked as a teacher for 31 years. He’s now happily retired and enjoys serving the St. Louis community.
• James Jones is an avid musician, studied urban planning, and works for a non-profit in St. Louis.
• Rachael Burchett is a recent graduate from St. Louis University and finds Uber as a means to help pay off student loans.
• James Morgan has over 2 million miles logged as a professional truck driver. He’s a proud father and native St. Louisan.
