On Tuesday, the Mobile City Council is voting on an ordinance that would find a permanent home for Uber in Mobile. The ordinance has been negotiated in good faith for months, however, Councilwoman Bess Rich is pushing for an onerous amendment that if adopted, would drive Uber out of Mobile. If you want to continue using the Uber you love and know in Mobile, here are two ways you can help:

1. Join us at Tuesday’s meeting. RSVP to let us know you can come!

You’ll have an opportunity to share how you rely on Uber to move around affordably and conveniently, and to ask the City Councillors to ensure you can continue accessing safe, reliable rides. Here are the meeting details:

Mobile City Council Meeting

Where: Mobile Government Plaza Auditorium, 205 Government Street
When: Tuesday, July 14 at 10:30 AM

Sign in at the door if you would like to speak

2. Email and call your Council members today!

Tell them why having access to safe and reliable options like Uber is important to you and ask them to pass the ordinance without any harmful amendments.
