Italian Liberation Day!
Every April 25th since 1945, celebrations, rallies, and food festivals ring out across Italy to mark Italian Liberation Day. This year, Uber is partnering with Baltimore’s finest Italian eateries to bring Festa della Liberazione to you!
Forget finding your passport or ponying up for a flight. We’ve worked out the itinerary for your culinary tour of Baltimore in celebration of Italian Liberation day:
Wednesday, Mt. Vernon
Visit local gems Sotto Sopra and Sammy’s Trattoria, and sample a free dessert with entree purchase when you show your Uber app.
Thursday, Little Italy
Find big flavor at La Tavola and Cafe Gia’s. Both restaurants will be celebrating la dolce vita and offering Uber users complimentary limoncello or a dessert with dinner purchases all evening.
Friday, Canton
Quicker than you can race a classic sports car up the Amalfi Coast, Uber to Verde Pizza Napoletana in Canton and join us, Sen. Bill Ferguson, and, Dr. Francesco Luigi Legaluppi, the Consul General of Italy, for a reception to toast the true meaning of the holiday. Happy hour drinks and free food will abound 4:30-7pm. And with a suggested donation of $10 to benefit Friends of Patterson Park and The Italian Cultural Center of Maryland, you’ll be entered to win gift baskets stuffed with Italian wine, beer, and of course, Uber credit.

- 25% off your Uber trip applies only to rides ending at Sotto Sopra and Sammy’s Trattoria on Wednesday, 4/23, Gia’s and La Tavola on Thursday, 4/24, and Verde on Friday, 4/25.
