Honolulu Marathon Pro Tips
Headed to the Honolulu Marathon and looking to arrive in style? Request Uber from anywhere in town, and get dropped off close to the start line. Remember, parking will be limited on site.
Be sure to follow these marathon pro-tips!
1) Verify your driver’s license plate before hopping in. Many other marathon-goers will be requesting!
2) Use Fare Split within the app to share the cost of your ride with some friends. Fare split = fair split.
3) When you’re leaving the vehicle, double check to make sure you haven’t left any belongings behind. After all, you’ll need your shoes for your next run!
4) Demand will be very high. Supply will be limited – check back often if your first request is unsuccessful.
When your spectating is done or your running feet are tired, walk away from the finish line crowds to request your safe ride home. Here is a map for the best area to request and get picked up at Kapahulu Avenue on the curb lane next to the zoo.
