Temperatures are dropping, flurries are swirling and chilling forecasts are abound. Spring has not quite sprung and while we anxiously wait for the return of Hotlanta’s notorious warmth, we want you to ride around like an expert. Use these great Uber Pro Tips to help make your cold weather travels even more seamless.

Find Lost Items

Even if you’ve checked it twice, you might have left one of your favorite things in the back seat. It happens to the best of us, but no need to fret, with Uber you can easily recover lost items.

Check the bottom of your receipt email for the “Click here if you lost something on this trip” link or visit riders.uber.com for your driver’s contact info. You can reach out directly to recover your lost item and avoid those cold weather blues.

Triple Check Your Pick Up Location Before Requesting

Before finalizing that request, make sure to click the compass symbol in the bottom right corner of your screen. Take a quick glance at the pick up location address and make sure everything is a-okay. Those simple steps can bring you plenty of cheer, making requests absolutely seamless.

Enter Your Drop-Off Destination in the App

When you get into your ride, all we want you to worry about it making sure the heat is set to your liking. Don’t stress over giving your driver turn-by-turn directions. Let the app handle that. Simple enter your drop-off destination in the app as soon as you make your request so that your driver will be ready to whisk you away to your desired location upon arrival.

Still not sure how to make sure that your destination is synced with your driver’s GPS? Check out this step-by-step gif below for additional help!
