Today, the Rhode Island Senate Commerce Committee will vote on S1005 – legislation that in its current form would make it very difficult for Rhode Islanders to access safe, affordable and reliable rides through the Uber platform.

This proposed bill imposes outdated requirements on ridesharing driver partners, ignores all of the innovations in the industry, and would take away the Uber you know and love. We need your help.

Let the Rhode Island Senate know that voters in the Ocean State don’t support laws – like S1005 – that stifle innovation and limit consumer choice. Help us make sure that Uber remains an option for Rhode Island!
