Filling Portland’s Stadium Inside and Out

Basketball madness is upon us here in Portland! Hoops fans from all over the country are falling in love with the Rose City and trying to get to know it better. In the past 48 hours, we have seen thousands of people all over the Portland Metro Area opening the Uber app with the hopes of zipping around town.

As this map shows, demand for Uber in the Portland Metro Area has been off the charts.

Whether they are headed to the stadium to catch the action live, to a sports bar or to a buddy’s house to root for their favorite team, fans are opening the Uber app to connect them to a safe and reliable ride.

Although we have temporarily paused pickups inside the Portland city limits until April when the Mayor and City Council pass regulations for ridesharing, Uber continues to serve Beaverton, Tigard, Gresham, and Hillsboro.
