Celebrating One Year In Burlington

Friday (October 9) marks our 1-year anniversary operating in Burlington, providing a safe transportation alternative to riders and economic opportunity to drivers throughout the city.

From the New North End down to Shelburne, we’ve not only expanded transportation options but have been able to do so reliably and in a matter of minutes. The average wait time for a ride in Burlington is just 4 minutes.

As you can see, demand for Uber isn’t just Downtown. In fact, over 14% of trips occur in the Old North End. And outside the city, 16% of Uber trips take place in South Burlington.

Our success serving all communities of Burlington and beyond is due to the hard work and dedication of the hundreds of Uber driver-partners who use our app to safely take Burlington residents and visitors wherever they need to go. Take a look at the map below to see where our partners hail from.

Nearly 32% of Uber partners list an address in the city of Burlington, while 12% in Winooski, and about 10% in South Burlington and Colchester respectively.
