Today is the longest day of the year and Hotlanta has officially shown up. In celebration, our team of day party experts and open air drinking aficionados compiled a list of Atlanta’s best rooftop bars. With uberPOOL starting at $1.35, there’s no excuse to skip the rooftop views around Atlanta.

Six Feet Under
Westside
Despite what their name implies, this West Midtown hangout has some of the best above ground views of downtown Atlanta. Seafood stands out on the menu, but don’t hesitate to indulge in their impressive drink options.

Whiskey Blue
Buckhead
Head to the W in Buckhead for some of the most unexpectedly beautiful views of Atlanta’s second skyline. Sip cocktails with friends with the opportunity to meet one of the many celebrities that call Atlanta home.

Little 5 Points
Smack dab in Atlanta’s self-proclaimed eclectic hood, this corner rooftop offers prime people watching in Little 5 Points. Their infamous Jameson and ginger slushie adds to the overall appeal of this neighborhood spot.

O-Ku Sushi
Westside
This new-ish sushi restaurant hosts a (once) little-known rooftop bar with a limited menu and a delectable cocktail list. Don’t let that deter you from the awesome views courtesy of their perfect westside location.

Midtown
Delicious Mexican food? Check. Endless margarita options? Check. Prime Midtown location? Check. Rooftop patio? Check!

Polaris
Downtown
No Atlanta rooftop list would be complete without a mention of Polaris. It rotates! That’s really all you need to know. Oh, there’s food and drinks to be had as well. But stay for an hour to experience a full panoramic view of Atlanta.

Der Biergarten
Downtown
Nosh on German bar food and attempt to drink through their extensive beer selection all the while enjoying an excellent rooftop. In the evenings, you may be joined by a band playing some class German jams.

Steamhouse Lounge

Rooftops and seafood have an undeniable connection. The new location now features a rooftop deck befitting of its Midtown location. Don’t skip the fresh oysters, especially on Wednesdays when they’re only $7 for a dozen.

Tin Lizzy’s Grant Park
Grant Park
Live music and a lively crowd can be found at this Grant Park Mexican establishment. The party doesn’t end until 2am, so ride over to Tin Lizzy’s for late night munchies after bar hopping around Grant Park.
