Asheville Pricing Update

Since we rolled out uberX in Asheville two months ago, we’ve had an amazing time providing safe, reliable rides to residents of this beautiful city. Riders are telling us they love having an alternate way to get around their city, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

The trial period is over, so we’re moving to everyday uberX ride-sharing costs, set in consultation with drivers and riders. A typical Friday night uberX ride will still be 10% cheaper than booking a taxi. Don’t forget, you can always get an estimate inside the app before riding or split your fare with friends.

Though our prices have changed, as always, your safety remains our highest priority. All Uber rides are still backed by our insurance policy, and you will always have the option to rate every driver to help ensure the highest quality experience.
