On Tuesday, April 19 the Palm Beach County Commission showed leadership in Florida by creating a modern regulatory framework for companies like Uber.

Special thanks to Commissioners Steven Abrams, Melissa McKinlay, Priscilla Taylor, Hal Valeche and Shelley Vana and Mayor Mary Lou Berger for standing up for transportation options and flexible economic opportunity in Palm Beach County, and voting for the ridesharing proposal.

And thanks to the thousands of riders and driver-partners who emailed, called, and attended public hearings in support of creating a permanent home for Uber in Palm Beach.
