User Generated Content Photo and Review Offer Terms & Conditions

To increase the amount of helpful user-generated content available on Uber Eats, Uber Eats may from time to time suggest that you upload a picture of an item you ordered or submit a written review about an order after you receive it. You are not required to participate, but you may choose to do so as a member of the Uber Eats community seeking to enhance the experience for other users who want to order from the same stores as you.

If you choose to submit a picture, your photo must be an original photo taken of the actual menu item as you received it. If you choose to submit a written review, the review must reflect your honest opinion and actual experience with the order and must otherwise comply with Uber’s applicable review and user-generated content requirements, linked below. You are not required to leave a positive review to qualify for an advertised offer. By submitting a photo or written review, you grant Uber Eats the rights, and agree to the representations, warranties, and obligations, set forth in User Generated Content Terms for use of that content, as well as the applicable photo guidelines. Submitted content may be reviewed for compliance, quality, and accuracy. Uber may decide, in its discretion, not to approve or publish any photo or review. Photos and reviews may appear in different places on Uber Eats related to the applicable item, store, or order. 

In certain cases, Uber Eats may advertise an opportunity to receive Uber Cash for submitting an eligible photo or written review. Only users who receive the applicable offer are eligible to receive Uber Cash under that offer. The offer will state the amount of Uber Cash available and any additional eligibility requirements or parameters, which may include the type of content requested, the eligible order, store, or item, and the period of time in which you must submit the content. For photo offers, unless the applicable offer states otherwise, Uber Eats will only award Uber Cash if your eligible photo is approved and posted as a menu item photo. For written review offers, unless the applicable offer states otherwise, Uber Eats will award Uber Cash when you complete and submit the written review within the time stated in the offer and otherwise satisfy the offer requirements; the award is not conditioned on the review being positive or on Uber Eats publishing the review. You may only receive Uber Cash once for the same eligible content submission or offer. Any category- or item-specific exclusions stated in the applicable offer will also apply. An offer to receive Uber Cash is subject to change or cancellation at any time in Uber Eats’ discretion.

In circumstances where Uber Eats advertises an award of Uber Cash, once you satisfy the applicable offer requirements and/or Uber Eats selects and publishes a photo as a menu item, Uber Eats will notify you and deposit the Uber Cash into your Uber Eats wallet. Awarded Uber Cash will be valid for use for one (1) month from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in the terms, and the relevant expiration date(s) can be found in the wallet section of your Uber account. Your receipt and use of Uber Cash is subject to the Uber Cash Terms of Use. Uber reserves the right to rescind awarded Uber Cash if Uber determines in its discretion that your photo or review violates or otherwise does not meet the applicable offer requirements or these Terms. Regardless of the amount of a specific advertisement for Uber Cash for your photos or reviews, you may not receive more than $500.00 in Uber Cash under these Terms.

Written reviews submitted in connection with an Uber Cash offer may be identified to other users as incentivized or otherwise include a disclosure that an incentive was provided for the review.
