Burbank is also closer to the greater Los Angeles area than LAX, and while it’s the only airport accessible by train from downtown LA, using the commuter train can take almost an hour. - Tony’s Darts Away: Originally a dive bar in the 1960s, Tony’s changed hands in 2010 and has become one of LA’s finest craft beer meccas. Located right on Magnolia in Burbank, Tony’s has an ever-rotating selection with some of the best West Coast beers around. As an added bonus, they serve some tasty vegan sausages and their own take on poutine, disco fries.
- Griffith Park: Boasting some of the best views of the city, Griffith Park has 53 miles of trails for hiking, where you’ll find the Griffith Park Observatory and some fantastic views of the Hollywood sign. The park is also a well-known filming location, so be sure to check out Bronson Canyon, home of the batcave from the 1960s TV show Batman.
