UberCHEF: On-Demand Chefs in the Hamptons

This Saturday, August 9, Uber is teaming up with Kitchensurfing, the online marketplace for chefs, to offer you the ultimate on-demand experience in the Hamptons. We’re introducing UberCHEF — on-demand professional chefs who come right to your door and prepare a gourmet meal inspired by grilled summer favorites for you and up to 16 friends!
HOW IT WORKS:
- Open up your Uber app in the Hamptons on Saturday, August 9
- Request the CHEF option
- If a Kitchensurfing chef is available, you will then receive a phone call to confirm your party size, location, and whether anyone has any dietary restrictions
- No cash needed — you will be billed right to your Uber account
THE DETAILS:
When: Saturday, August 9. Request for lunch between 11:30am – 2:00pm. Request for dinner between 5pm – 7:30.
Where: UberCHEF is only available in Bridgehampton, Southamption, East Hampton, and Montauk. Once you request and are connected to a chef, he or she will arrive at your requested location and prepare lunch or dinner for you and your guests.
Who: Your UberCHEF request may serve between 6 – 16 people.
The best part? It’s only $35 per person for four courses!
THE FOOD:
Each chef has crafted an exclusive UberCHEF four-course menu inspired by grilled summer favorites. (Think grilled ahi tuna with pistachio pesto and lavender sea salt, lobster rolls with sicilian caper mayo and mint, or grilled corn with harissa aioli!) This is not your typical backyard BBQ, but rather an elevated take on classic summer dishes with each chef bringing his or her own special flare and flavors.
