West we go: Uber is in the Berkshires

Just in time for summer, Uber is launching in the Berkshires. Now you can enjoy a show at Tanglewood without worrying about parking, or head out to dinner without thinking about driving the winding roads home.

  When and where is Uber available?

  Our service area includes all of Berkshire County, and drivers are available 24/7. Since we are new to the region, riders requesting in more remote areas may experience longer wait times or may find that a car is not available.  As more people sign up to drive with Uber, you can expect to see wait times decrease.

  How much will my Uber ride cost?

  There is a minimum fare for uberX in the Berkshires. You can do a fare estimate here to see how much your ride will be, and the app will display the final price before you request.

  Can I take an Uber to Tanglewood?

  Definitely! Uber is a member of the Tanglewood Business Partnership, and Uber drivers will be directed to the West Entrance for pickups and drop-offs at Tanglewood shows.

  I have a car, how do I drive with Uber?
