Starting today, the residents of Thurston County have access to a brand new transportation option.

In celebration of our launch, and Capital Lakefair festivities, we’re offering 50% off rides* on Friday, July 15.

All you have to do is open your app and ride, and your discount will automatically apply!

We met with local mayors – and Marshal the courthouse dog – to give them a ride around town.

I am always excited to hear that my kids are riding home in an Uber because I know they’re safe. Now I’m glad they can do it closer to home.

Uber will help our community remove barriers to critical services for some residents who do not have access to transportation options.

Andy Ryder

Andy Ryder, Mayor of Lacey

Modern cities have transportation options like Uber. That’s why I’m proud Uber has chosen our growing community of Lacey as their next expansion city.

Uber will benefit Tumwater residents by providing another transportation choice for residents and employees to move about our community.

It won’t be ruff to get around anymore! My tail is wagging at the thought of a new transportation option in my neighborhood.

Special thanks to our launch partners: Visit Olympia, Thurston County Target Zero, Capital Lakefair and the mayors of Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey and Yelm.

We’re excited to provide safe, reliable, and affordable rides to Thurston County – thanks for riding with us.
