Ride uberHOP to celebrate U Link opening this weekend

Live, work, or play in North Seattle? You’re in luck — getting around just got easier. We’re celebrating the launch of the University Link Light Rail by offering riders in Green Lake, Wallingford, The Ave and University Village direct uberHOP routes to and from the new University of Washington Link station all weekend long.

Whether you’re headed to the Saturday festivities, or just want to experience the new light rail for the first time, catch a ride there with uberHOP. Your first 2 rides are free with the promo code ULINKHOP. Just enter the code in your app in the PROMOTIONS tab and you’re good to go.

Where to catch your ride:

• $3: Green Lake: NE 65th St & 8th Ave NE (In front of Bus Stop Espresso)

• $2.50: Wallingford: NE 45th St & Wallingford Ave (In front of QFC)

• $2: University Village: NE 45th St & 25th Ave NE (In front of Joey Kitchen)

• $2: University District: NE 45th St & Memorial Way NE (In front of Burke Museum)

When to catch your ride:

• Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20 from 9am to 5pm

How to ride with uberHOP:

• Request: Select the uberHOP option and request your route. Rides will be available from 9am – 5pm. You can request for yourself and a friend.
• Walk: Head to the pickup spot. Be sure to arrive on time or you might miss your ride.
• Ride: You’ll depart at a scheduled time and head straight to the UW U Link station.
