It’s finally that time of year again– Summerfest! As the official ridesharing sponsor of the fest, we’re here to help you get to and from the music safely and reliably. From dusk till dawn, we’ll be there to make sure you’ve got a ride. So ditch your car keys and focus on the fun– we’ll take care of the ride.
SEAMLESS PICKUP AND DROP-OFF
We’ve designated three pickup and drop-off locations at Summerfest. Look for the Uber flags!
- Central: E. Chicago St. & N. Jackson St.
- Important: after 10pm, this will be the only pickup/drop-off location available
- North: E. Michigan St. & N. Harbor Dr.
- South: E. Summerfest Place & N. Jackson St
PRO TIPS
- Run a Fare Estimate to quote the cost of your trip before you request.
- Split the Fare of your trip with friends for an even cheaper ride! No more IOU’s.
- Use the Share My ETA feature so your crew can track your route in real time and know your expected time of arrival.
- Get in the Uber you requested. Double check the license plate info listed in your app to avoid a mix-up!
- With the solid music lineup this year, demand will be high at times. Surge pricing allows us to remain reliable during peak demand. We’ll always notify you if surge pricing is in effect and ask you to manually type in the higher multiple before you can request a ride.
- Tap the Notify Me If Surge Ends button and confirm push notifications to receive an alert when surge pricing at your location drops.

We’ll be on-site at the festival– come say hello! Bring a friend who has never used Uber and you’ll both get a free piece of swag when they sign-up! Look for us in the Uber tent, just inside the main entrance.
