Starting Monday, October 1, UberX, UberXL, and Select pickups at SNA (John Wayne Airport) are moving to the parking structures. When you request a ride at SNA, you will be picked up on Level 3 of your terminal’s designated parking structure.

Requesting your ride

From the Departures Level of your terminal, you can follow the in-app instructions and airport signs to find your terminal’s pickup location, located on Level 3 of each garage:

• Terminal A: Parking Structure A2, near the Departures Level crosswalk from Terminal A
• Terminal B: Parking Structure B2, near the Departures Level crosswalk from Terminal B
• Terminal C: Parking Structure C, near the exit from Terminal C to the parking structure

Once you arrive at the Uber pickup zone on Level 3 of your designated parking structure, request your ride and let your driver know the terminal where you’re waiting.

Black and Black SUV pickups will remain curbside on the Arrivals Level. Dropoffs will still be located on the Departures Level at the curb.

• What’s changing at SNA?

  Beginning October 1, all riders requesting UberX, UberXL, or Select from SNA (John Wayne Airport) will be picked up at their terminal’s designated parking structure.

• How do I get to the new pickup locations?

  From the Departures Level of your terminal, you can follow the in-app instructions and airport signs to get to Level 3 of your terminal’s parking structure.

• What vehicle options does this affect?

  This affects UberX, UberXL, and Select. Pickups for Black and Black SUV will remain curbside on the Arrivals Level.

• Where should riders be dropped off for departures?

  No change here—if you ride with Uber to SNA, you will be dropped off curbside at the Departures Level for all terminals.

• How far is Level 3 of my designated parking structure from the terminals?

  From the Departures Level, each parking structure pickup location is about a 2-minute walk from its adjacent terminal.

• Is there an airport surcharge for pickups from the parking structure?

  Per our agreement with SNA, a $2.25 airport surcharge is added to all fares.

• If I am heading to Level 3 of my designated parking structure for a ride, when do I request?

  Please request your ride only when you are in the parking structure. Your driver should be just a few minutes away.
