We’ve partnered with American Airlines to create a door-to-door streamlined service to help passengers get to the airport and back as seamlessly as possible.
American’s customers can easily set a reminder for an Uber ride with the help of Uber’s Ride Reminder. After booking your flights on aa.com, American will send an e-ticket confirmation via email, where you’ll be able to click on the “Remind me to Uber” icon to set a reminder for your ride.
Once you land, the American Airlines app will guide you to the nearest Uber pick up location.

- If you checked luggage on your flight, wait until you retrieve your bags before requesting a ride to avoid congestion at the curb
- uberX and uberXL trips that begin or end at CLT will be subject to a $1 surcharge
- Always confirm your driver’s name and photo, along with the license plate, make, and model of the vehicle to ensure you’ve got the right ride
