Meet the Uber PVD Team

What’s up, Rhode Island? Many of you have met our Providence team, but for those of you that haven’t, we wanted to introduce ourselves!

Meet Lauren. Actually, you probably already have. She’s the Community Manager of Uber Providence and is constantly running about town. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Lauren always knows the fastest way to 95 and how to mix the perfect Del’s and vodka. She’s got a ton of pride in her home state and was thrilled when she had the opportunity to launch Uber in Rhode Island last September. She always knew that Rhode Island would need and love Uber, but the acceptance and growth she’s seen since launching has surpassed even her wildest  expectations. As Community Manager, Lauren handles all of the rider side operations. Her job is to spread the UberLOVE all over Rhode Island and she’s always available to answer rider questions.

Meet Gaston. He’s the Operations & Logistics Manager of Uber Providence. He partners with local transportation providers to give Rhode Islanders access to safe and reliable rides at the tap of a button. An urban-planning nut, Gaston has always been interested in the way people move about a city. He especially loves spending time getting to know each driver partner individually. Using analytics, driver partner insight, and rider feedback, he works to make the Uber Providence experience top notch for everyone. After an awesome day of work, you’re likely to find him with a Narragansett in hand and a huge smile on his face.
