What is Boost+?
Boost+ is a promotion that pays you extra for completed trips that begin in a specific area (blue zones in the map) within a specific time window.
Boost+ pay is added on top of your base fare on every eligible trip helping you maximize your time on the road.
What's new with Boost+
Boost+ has been updated to make it easier to earn extra when demand is high in your city. Here's what's changed:
1. Earnings now based on active hour: Boost+ pay is now based on estimated active time–the time from accepting a trip to completing it.
2. No sign-up needed: When you pick up an order in an active Boost+ zone during the listed hours, you'll automatically earn extra.
3. See it in your trip request: When active, extra earnings from Boost+ pay will be included within the fare shown on the trip request.
How does Boost+ work?
- Check Opportunities for zones and time where Boost+ is available. The promotion can appear up to 24 hours before they go live.
- Start deliveries in the eligible area during the listed hours. No sign-up required—you're in automatically.*
- Every trip with a pickup in a Boost+ zone has an added Boost+ pay included. Accept trips as usual.
- See your total Boost+ earnings in your trip receipt.

What is active time?
Active time is the time you are estimated to spend engaged on a trip—from accepting a trip, driving to the store or restaurant, picking up the order, and delivering it to the customer. It does not include time spent online while waiting for a trip request.
How is Boost+ calculated?
The Boost+ amount on your trip request is calculated using the estimated active time for that trip. Time spent on a trip beyond the estimated active time is not eligible for Boost+.
Example: If a trip is estimated to take 30 minutes of active time and the Boost+ rate is $10/active hour, the Boost+ pay added to your trip request would be $5.
Do I need to sign up for Boost+?
No. When your pickup is in a Boost+ zone during the listed hours, you're automatically included. You don't need to opt in.
Where can I see Boost+ zones?
You can also find upcoming Boost+ opportunities in the Discover tab of your Uber Driver app. Zones where Boost+ is active appear on your map.
Does Boost+ stack with my Quests?
Yes. Boost+ stacks with your ongoing Quests and other promotions. Every trip eligible toward your Quest in a Boost+ zone also earns the Boost+ pay.
What happens if I start a trip outside the Boost+ zone?
Boost+ applies to trips that have a pickup within the Boost+ zone. If your pickup is outside the zone, the trip won't earn the Boost+ pay.
Is Boost+ available everywhere?
Boost+ availability varies by city and is determined based on when and where demand is high. Check your Driver app to see if Boost+ is available in your area.
