Give Meaning to Your Commute—Ride for a Cause

We’re making it easier than ever to support your favorite NYC charity with Ride for a Cause, our month-long partnership with 6 local charities.

For each ride you take in NYC during the month of March, Uber will donate $1 to your charity of choice!

Follow these simple steps to get involved:

• Enter the promo code of your favorite charity in the Uber app — you can only enter one code, so choose wisely!

• Request uberX, UberBLACK, or UberSUV in NYC (excludes uberT).

• Ride for a cause! For each ride you complete from March 1 through March 31, 2014, we will donate $1 to the charity of your choice.

But wait, there’s more! On April 1, we will donate an additional $10,000 to the charity that racks up the most rides. The more you ride, and the more friends you recruit to your cause, the better the chances are that your charity will receive the bonus funds.

FEED fights hunger with every purchase you make. Founded by Lauren Bush Lauren, FEED’s mission is to “Create Good Products That Help FEED The World,” and, to date, the social business has been able to provide over 75 million meals to children globally.

This March, every ride for FEED will provide 1 emergency meal for a child or family in Syria.
